Rescue 1 responded to the report of house fire in the 1600 Block of Riggs Place NW, units arrived on scene and found a kitchen on fire. Rescue 1 arrived on scene, performed a search of the residence and assisted in fireground operations. The search of the residence was negative. The DFC responded on the working fire dispatch.
